‘There Is a Stench’: No Soap and Overcrowding in Detention Centers for Migrant Children

A disorderly scene of affliction and foulness is unfurling in a stuffed fringe station in Clint, Tex., where many youngsters who have as of late crossed the outskirt are being held, as per attorneys who visited the office this week. A portion of the kids has been there for almost a month.

Kids as youthful as 7 and 8, a significant number of them wearing dresses built up with snot and tears, are thinking about newborn children they’ve quite recently met, the legal advisors said. Babies without diapers are assuaging themselves in their jeans. Adolescent moms are wearing dresses recolored with bosom milk.
